RAGE AGAINST the Democratic National Convention. According to CDNOW's Allstar, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE has secured necessary permits to perform in protest outside of the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles. They will take the stage across the street from the Staples Center at 6 p.m. on Friday.
KORN's Jonathan Davis sued by wife. MTV reports that KORN frontman Jonathan Davis is being sued by his estranged wife Renee for half of Davis' income during their nine-year relationship. The Davis couple, now separated, has been married since 1998 with one son. KORN is currently wrapping up their "Sick & Twisted" summer tour with POWERMAN 5000 and PAPA ROACH.
CREED bassist moves on. Following heated negative comments about PEARL JAM, CREED bassist Brian Marshall has left the group, says Rolling Stone. CREED publicists say there is no connection between Marshall's comments made during a recent radio interview. The split was amicable. No plans for a replacement yet.
